How it works
Finding a partner for the 4 Vallées Ambassador Offer usually means scrambling in the Facebook group and hoping the person you find doesn't disappear before you can meet. This service does the matchmaking - you register, and we pair you with a partner. After that it's over to you and the standard Téléverbier application process. This page shows the end-to-end process.
→ You register with us
Start by choosing the role that fits you. You're an Ambassador if you held a 4 Vallées seasonal or annual pass in one of the previous two seasons and want to refer a new holder. You're a Referee if you're new to the 4 Vallées and need an Ambassador to refer you. You register in one role, and you only ever have one registration.
You must confirm your email address before your registration is active. We'll email you a verification link when you register. Once you've clicked the link you're active and in the queue - there's nothing else you need to do.
← We match you
As soon as a suitable partner is available, the system pairs you - one Ambassador with one Referee. You don't browse or choose; we assign a partner and email you both. If there are people waiting for a match with your role (e.g. you register as a Referee, and there are Ambassadors waiting) the match will be instant.
From that moment a contact window starts - its length is shown in the match email. During it, you can see your match partner's first name, but not their email or phone number. Those contact details stay hidden until you have both accepted. This is deliberate: it's the core privacy promise of the service.
→ You accept
Both of you need to accept within the contact window. If your partner accepts first, you'll see the match waiting on you; once you accept too, you're through to the final step. Accepting simply means you're happy to go ahead and share your contact details with each other.
If you decline, or the window runs out before you respond, the match ends and you're taken out of the queue for the moment - but nothing is lost. Your registration is kept, and you can rejoin from your account page whenever you're ready. The partner who did accept goes back to the front of the queue, so they're matched again quickly.
← We reveal contact details
Once you've both accepted, we reveal each other's contact details - and only then. That's the finish line for us: you can now get in touch and go make your application together. Filling in the form and buying your passes happens off the app, directly with the ticket office.
If your partner arranges to meet and then doesn't show up, you can report it. We trust the report straight away: you go back to the front of the queue to be paired again, and the person who didn't show is removed from the pool.
A match falling through is normal and it doesn't set you back: unless you were the one who dropped out, you return to the front of the queue and are matched again. Over a season you might be part of several matches before one sticks.
Changed your mind? You can leave the programme at any time, and register again later if you want to come back.
